Clay Aiken 是某屆american idol 的第二名，不過... ... 現在比那第一名的還要出名...= ='
演唱的曲目是 this is the night，評判的評語是「比原唱還要好聽」。這首invisible是他第一張唱片的主打歌，也是我接觸clay的第一首歌，其後還有很多很多好聽的歌。clay 唱 live很有水準(有興趣可以問我拿他在miss america表演的片子)，人也很帥。請不要用「又是帥哥...」的眼神來看我，clay參加初賽時是間條恤衫、黑色粗框，一副赤貧大學生的樣子去試唱，他嬴，靠的不是樣，是聲。

歌詞說希望自己是透明人，可以自由出沒心上人的附近看看她在做甚麼，但多次在鬧市喊她的名字、追蹤她的足跡她都沒發覺，對於她來說，自己不過是身邊經過的一個影子，原來在她眼中，自己已經是透明人。

全首歌觸動最深的一句是「wait..i already am..」，道出了被遺忘的無奈。整首歌很輕快，但到了這一句，好像忽然沉了下來，全世界都灰了。由開始時興致勃勃地盼望自己透明好去看看心上人在做甚麼，到真正發現自己等同透明，心有不甘，在鬧市大喊她的名字、伸手去觸摸，卻都是徒然，對方看不見，也聽不到。如果是我，一定會絕望得哭了出來...

遺忘，的確比直接拒絕傷害深得多。

這首歌是由Beatles原唱，喜歡Beatles應該聽過的。在旋律上，其實我覺得聽起來比較單調，沒有什麼起伏。主旋律重覆又重覆著，會有點兒悶悶的。但是柔柔、悶悶的旋律卻正與其歌詞相互配合。歌詞的內容正為這音樂帶來新的國度。其內容其實就是長今精神、永不言敗。講述一隻黑鳥在黑夜中歌唱，用其破爛之翼而學飛。黑鳥終於飛破黑夜到達光明之處。在您整個生命中就是等待這個時刻。

這個正是人一生的全部，人生存就是為了面對逆境；就是為了用破爛之翼學 習飛翔。不是嗎？有些人老是感覺自己能力有限，面對問題時總是感到失望難過。但人生有誰不是為了用有限的能力解決面前的問題？假若你是造物者，無論每樣的 困難總是輕易渡過，這會是怎樣的人生？沒有哭過的人，是不會體會到什麼是開心。人生存是為了學飛，是為了跌倒。所以面對逆境不要灰心，不要失望。拾起破爛之翼飛向光明之處吧。

The poem on the underground wall

"A POEM ON THE UNDERGROUND WALL LYRICS

The last train is nearly due,
The underground is closing soon,
And in the dark deserted station,
Restless in anticipation,
A man waits in the shadows.

His restless eyes leap and scratch,
At all that they can touch or catch,
And hidden deep within his pocket,

He holds a colored crayon.

Now from the tunnel’s stony womb,
The carriage rides to meet the groom,
And opens wide and welcome doors,
But he hesitates, then withdraws

我知道全部把人家的歌詞轉過來好像不太好，但為了研究上的需要，我想還是這樣做比較好（我想這能叫做正當利用吧）。

首先簡單介紹Simon & Garfunkel 這隊樂隊。我非常非常喜歡這隊樂隊，以歌詞的質量而言，喜歡程度甚至比King's singer 還強。Simon & Garfunkel 是一隊六十至七十年代很受歡迎的樂隊。Simon 好像讀過一兩年英國文學，所以他們的歌一直以來詩味都很重，而且總有一種社會批判的味道，和聲也非常好。因為他們的歌詩味很重，有很多象徵的手法在內，所以要分析他們的歌實在要花一點功夫，但可能就因為如此，所以他們的歌才值得分析。

好，歌手介紹到此為止，因為如果要認真介紹的話，就會太冗長沈悶了（而且我也不想看太多的資料）。

整首 the poem on the underground wall說只是一個小故事。有個人趁地下鐵快要關門，四下無人的時候，在地上鐵的牆上塗了些字，而且那字是由四個字母組成的，我想那應該是一個粗口，是控訴社會的粗口。

歌詞方面寫得非常好，從字間行間都表達了地鐵上空洞，那人心中的興奮和犯罪時的心態。而且就內容來說，這也可以算是一篇極好的極短篇。

就一段而言，"the deserted station"很能表現出地鐵近關閉時的荒涼。用" restless" 來形容"anticipation"又有一種很急迫的感覺，在暗角裏等待的人暗示了有什麼事性即將發生。這是一個懸疑。很有極短篇的味道，像是詩化了的極短篇。

第二段進一步把那懸疑擴大，鬼祟的眼神，在袋裏的顏色筆。一個":silent" 的 pocket，像是在等候什麼事情的發生。疑團慢慢的滲透歌的角落。

第三段的描寫手法更加引人入勝。stony womb，誰會想到用stony womb 來形容地下鐵？這的確是一個妙筆。子宮 給人一個很安全的感覺，但也有種很狹窄、神秘的感覺，但stony卻給人一種很陌生和無情的感覺。正適合用來形容空無一人的地鐵，神秘而冷清。更妙的是，那神祕人的"hesitates, then withdraws"，完全表達出那人小心謹慎的樣子。故事的謎團再次加深，那人像想要做些不見得光的事。

旋律現時的節奏慢慢加快，而且聲調也慢得漸大，一步步的走向高潮。

第四段，"tapping litany"（litany 是一種不斷重複的連禱文）很能表現出地鐵列車那種連綿不斷的沈悶響聲。"And he holds his crayon rosary,Tighter in his hand"那句，就表示他終於下定決心有所行動了。

第五段就內容而言是整首歌曲的高潮。作者終於揭曉了神秘人究竟想做什麼，原來是要寫首只有四個字母的"poem"。為什麼會有一首只有四個字的"poem"呢？那首詩應該是一句粗口，以"poem"來形容粗口是一種諷刺，還是表示這種別人認為不正當的行為背後其實都代表著社會上一群人的心聲，就像詩一樣高度濃縮地表達著一種深層意義呢？

最後一段有個很驚人的影像，那神秘人"is laughing, screaming, pounding"，像瘋掉一樣。全歌的結尾也很詭秘:"To seek the breast of darkness and be suckled by the night"
奶是嬰兒用以維繫生命的東西。這是不是意味著那神秘人也需要黑暗才能生存呢？他會不會是被社會遺棄的一群呢？

"suckled by the night"，人在黑暗中消失，只餘下地下鐵的詩，讓人深思箇中意義。

時常我們都會看到社會上有很多不正常的現象，像街邊時不時會看到有人用噴漆大大地寫著幾個字，有些青年人時常在深夜流連。當然不可能否認其中有些是因為自甘墮落導致的，但會不會其實大部份都是迫於無奈的呢？他們有些東西想向社會講，但卻找不到溝通的渠道，所以用一些偏激的方法，以致被社會視為異類。其實我們本身是不是也要負上責任呢？

下次當我們看到牆上的塗鴉時，請我們想想，究竟他們有什麼說話要和我們說？
